    This is a vintage MID-CENTURY MODERN CALIFORNIA POTTERY ASHTRAY DESIGNED BY SASCHA BRASTOFF.  The ashtray has 3 large (cigar-size) cigarette rests and is from the artist's Alaska series and features an ESKIMO HUNTER readying to throw his harpoon spear.  The large size ashtray with multi-color, hand-painted gold accent art measures about 11-3/4' X 8-1/2".  In very good condition with no chips or breaks.
